Gators offer South Florida’s elite 2024 wide receiver
Four-star wide receiver Chance Robinson He announced on Friday that he had been offered a scholarship by the University of Florida.
Robinson shared the good news via Twitter. Florida is now one in nearly two dozen Power Five schools that are pursuing Robinson a year after he made his decision. Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, UCF and Utah are among notable programs that have offered him, but Florida’s biggest competition might come from in-state in this race.
Florida State is considered the early favorite for Robinson and he’s already been to Tallahassee three times so far. He plans to make a stop at Auburn on January 28, so the Tigers may be worth a look.
Robinson is a four-star consensus recruit. He plays at one the best high schools in Florida and the nation. St. Thomas Aquinas is a school that has produced numerous NFL players over the years and many Division I athletes. Florida should establish any pipeline with the school.
Robinson is No. Robinson is ranked No. 110 on the 247Sports composite. 20 among 2024’s class of receivers. The service’s standalone rankings are even higher on him, ranking Robinson at No. Overall, Robinson is ranked No. 54 and No. 6. 6 of those in his position.
