On Sunday, Giants head coaches will be interviewed by Giants coordinators

Head coaches-needy clubs are interested in Wink and Wink Martindale, New York Giants’ offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator.

The duo has so far refused to take any interviewsInstead, they will be focusing on the NFC Playoffs. That will change this Sunday.

Both Kafka und Martindale will interview the Giants on Sunday, regardless of whether they beat the Philadelphia Eagles in order to advance to Saturday’s NFC Championship Game.

Kafka will interview with Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, and Indianapolis Colts. Martindale will interview for the Colts.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to be a part of those conversations and be a part of that process but really that’s all I have to add on it,” Kafka said last week.

Martindale was equally honored, but he made sure to note that he doesn’t view his position with the Giants as a stepping stone.

“When I came here as a Giant, it wasn’t a stepping stone for me. It was a destination,” Martindale said. “I love it here in New York. It’s a wonderful city. I think it’s the greatest city in the world, I think it’s the greatest fans in the world and the ownership — the Maras and Tischs — have been great to my family.”
