The engagement party was held at Studio City Retreat Estate in Studio City (California) on Saturday night to celebrate the couple’s upcoming “I do’s”.
PEOPLE spoke to the couple ahead of their event and said that they had many family and friends attending.

Unglert, 31 and Miller-Keyes 27, met on the sixth season Of Bachelor in Paradise In June 2019, and got engaged on Kauai Island in Hawaii in October after more than three years of dating.
Their engagement party featured passed appetizers such as sliders and charcuterie as well as tomato soup (and grilled cheese) as well as other dishes. Miller-Keyes said, “It is more casual.” “Comfort food.”

The couple claims that they have all the major items on their list for wedding planning.
Miller-Keyes says, “We spent New Years’ in Aspen looking for wedding venues. We think we found one.” “I’ve got my dresses, and I feel like that’s the heavy lifting — the venue, the dresses — and then comes the fun stuff.”

The couple also stated that they chose to skip a formal wedding party at the altar.
Miller-Keyes states, “We are doing no bridesmaids or groomsmen.” “It puts so much pressure on and it’ll just us standing up there. While one of his best friends will officiate, we’ll still have to do the ceremony. [maid of honor] [the best man]They just won’t be standing there or matching.”

Unglert admits that his fiancé has taken the lead on most of the planning. PEOPLE: “I just nod and say yes,” he jokes.
Miller-Keyes and Miller-Keyes are both open to making wedding decisions but they look forward becoming husband/wife later in the year.
Miller-Keyes says, “The venue is very unique. So I think it will be a really enjoyable weekend with a hundred of my friends.” “Then there’s the engagement party, which is just a glimpse of it with 50 people.”
