Malachi Moore will be returning to Alabama in the senior season
Shortly after Alabama took care of Kansas State in the Allstate Sugar, one of the Crimson Tide’s defensive backs quickly let his future plans known to the public.
Malachi Moore, a rotational defensive backfield player for Alabama, told reporters that he intends to return to Alabama in his senior season.
Moore was a standout defensive player during his true freshman year in 2020. He had 44 tackles, and three interceptions.
Moore was injured during his sophomore campaign, which enabled Brian Branch to rise to the STAR position in the Alabama defense.
Alabama’s 2023 season will see Moore return, which is a huge boost for a backend that is likely to lose Jordan Battle, DeMarcco Heckams, and most importantly Branch.
