Miley Cyrus Wore a Wardrobe of Vintage Looks — Including 3 Versace Gowns! — for Her NYE Special

Miley Cyrus Welcome in the New Year wearing many looks from fashion’s past.
Saturday night was the second time that “Wrecking ball” artist, 30 years old, hosted her event. Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party NBC special featuring her godmother, country music legend Dolly Parton, 76.
The sand was not only a good choice, but it also made the experience more enjoyable. Plastic Hearts The 2023 countdown was led by singer with a show-stopping performance. She also closed the year with a wardrobe full of vintage high-fashion looks, created in collaboration with her stylist Bradley Kenneth.
While the two tapped into multiple coveted designer labels and collections — from Tom Ford for Gucci Items for Spring/Summer 1996 Bob Mackie‘s Fall 2002 “To Broadway With Love” capsule — it was Versace that truly stole the show.
The Grammy-nominated two-time nominee for the Grammys commanded the stage throughout the evening with not one, nor two, but three breathtaking pieces from the Italian label.

For her cohosting duties, Cyrus opted for two looks befitting of the Miami vibe – one featuring a tie-around top and patchwork skirt from Spring/Summer 1993 and the second starring a sage green-and-orange one-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit from Spring/Summer 2006.
Her third Versace outfit, a spring/summer 2005 halter neck baby rose dress with a plunging neckline, was another early aughts gem, and perfect for a performance alongside Y2K icon Paris Hilton Grammy nominee SiaAll of them took the stage together with a modern-day rendition Hilton’s hit single “Stars Are Blind” (2006).

The party was not complete without some twinning looks by the cohosts. Two of their performances were full of 80s glamour.
There was a hot pink style moment Parton wore a pink slip dress and a sheer top under the vintage Yves Saint Laurent one shoulder gown. Cyrus sang with lots of sequins and feathers.
Nevertheless, the duo continues to cover of Joan Jetts and the Blackhearts’ “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” called for matching leopard-print outfits — Cyrus in a little black dress and gloves and Parton in a bodysuit with leg cutouts.

“I guess my resolution would really be — my instinct is very loud, but I’m not a great listener sometimes,” she revealed. “Dolly was telling her, her husband [Carl Thomas Dean] Says, “You’re not hard to hear.” You aren’t good at listening. That would be my resolution to listen to other people as well.
