NBA Twitter reacts to Nets’ 109-98 loss to the Boston Celtics

The Brooklyn Nets On Thursday, the Boston Celtics hosted them for their second matchup of the season. They lost. 109-98. Boston leads the regular-season series now 2-0.

TJ Warren, a Nets player, had 20 points and six assists. Kyrie Irving scored 24 points for the Nets. Joe Harris had 18 points and Royce O’Neale had 11 points.

Jayson Tatum, the Celtics’ point guard, had 20 points and 11 boards. Marcus Smart, Marcus Smart’s point guard had 16 points as well as 10 assists. Malcolm Brogdon scored 16 points from the bench, while Derrick White scored 15 points.

The first three quarters of the game were competitive. Despite Jaylen Brown and Kevin Durant being absent, neither team had the firepower they expected. Brooklyn did an excellent job of defending Tatum but Irving didn’t have the best shooting game.

This game turned into a blowout in the fourth quarter as Boston had its offense rolling despite Tatum’s tough shooting night and Brooklyn was unable to keep up without Durant on the court. The Nets were out-rebounded 48-31 by the Celtics in this game. This led to many second possessions for Boston, which ultimately saw them win.
