Nevada State High School celebrates School Choice Week with a Better Path to Education For Nevada Families

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 20, 2023 /PRNewswire/ – Nevada State High School will be joining School Choice Week, which aims to raise awareness and empower parents to make the right educational choices for their children through a series of events.

Nevada State High School will be engaging their student body through a variety activities over the course the week. The culmination of their flagship event is Bowlie Hawkins Friday, January 27, 2023At the Orleans Bowling Center.

Bowlie Hawkins, and the events leading up to it at Nevada State High School, celebrates educational freedom and reasons students and families choose the dual-credit charter school  during National School Choice Week. Open to all students, student bowling will take place 9-11 a.m. noon-2 p.m.

Students from all nine Nevada State High School campuses will celebrate the occasion with a scarf giveaway and door decorating contest. A virtual open house featuring alumni and students as well as school choice videos will be held earlier in the week. The school will also have a booth at Las Vegas School Choice Fair. Saturday, Jan. 21.

All these celebrations are scheduled to coincide with National School Choice Week (Jan. 22-28, 2023), which will feature tens of thousands of school choice celebrations across all 50 states. The Nevada State High School’s Bowling Extravaganza and Las Vegas School Choice Fair are two of the biggest celebrations during the Week.
