Northwood woman hurt in I-35 crash

Dec. 18—A Northwood woman was injured Sunday morning in a vehicle rollover on Interstate 35 near Albert Lea.

Marissa Irene Zazueta (30), was taken by Mayo Ambulance in Albert Lea to Mayo Clinic Health System, Albert Lea for injuries that were not life-threatening.

According to the report, Zazueta was driving a Ford Escape 2011 southbound on I-35 at milepost 9, when the vehicle crashed at 10:09 AM.

The roads were clear at the time of the crash and alcohol was not an issue.

Albert Lea Fire Department, as well as the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, assisted on the scene. Zazueta was reported as having her seat belt on.
