Lucien Robroek, CEO of Nuvera Fuel Cells (L), and Lars Kool, CEO of UMS (R).

Lars Kool, UMS CEO, says that “At Urban Mobility Systems, we take great pride and in solid electrification options that can be built or deployed efficiently in on and off-road vehicle.” Fuel cell capability can be added to many applications where battery power is insufficient or not practical. Nuvera has access to the best technology in series-produced fuel cells engines. UMS’s strategy to bring modern electrification options to market in a very short time frame is perfectly supported by this product’s availability.

Powered by hydrogen, Nuvera® fuel cell products are integrated into electric powertrains for material handling and port equipment, buses, trucks, stationary equipment and maritime vessels. The Nuvera E-Series fuel cell engines provide the same functionality and interfaces as mechanical drivetrains powered with diesel internal combustion engines.

Nuvera is working with Urban Mobility Systems to increase its European presence and global capability to electrify vehicles using advanced fuel cell technology.
