Oklahoma’s Porter Moser has ‘no interest’ in Notre Dame coaching job

Those of us who were getting excited about Oklahoma coach Porter Moser’s potential appointment to Notre Dame will have to put an end of it. Tulsa World reporter Eli Lederman, Sooners beat, has tweeted that Moser doesn’t want to succeed Mike Brey The next Irish coach

This is undoubtedly disappointing for those who had hoped that Moser would revitalize the Irish the way he revitalized Loyola-Chicago. However, it could be the best. Moser took the Sooners job after securing his legacy in the Windy City’s Rogers Park neighborhood, but his success didn’t come with him, at least not yet. His tenure is less than two years old and he has only a 31-29 track record. It might not be the right time to move jobs.
