Paulina Porizkova reminisces about her first meal with Ric Ocasek.

The 57-year old supermodel shared her thoughts on Monday via Instagram photo She imagines herself alone in the restaurant where she met Ric Ocasek (Cars lead singer).
The pair — who shared two sons together — tied the knot in 1989 and separated in 2017. They remained close friends until Ocasek’s passing in 2019.
“I’m sitting at a table at the Odeon restaurant, the very same table where, 39 years ago, I had my first dinner with the man who would become my husband,” Porizkova began In the caption.
She explained She said that she didn’t notice anyone other than the tall, lanky, awkwardly elegant, turquoise-eyed man next to her, even though she had dinner with the Cars band members.
Ocasek “walked to a small table near the wall, where a couple was having romantic dinner,” during their meal. He quickly put all condiments and food aside, then he got up and folded his entire body to fit on the tabletop.
The model said, “Then he got up and slinked back to me as though nothing had happened.” penned. “I thought that he was the most convincing man I had ever seen. Confident and hilarious in an absurdist Monty Python-esque manner. “I must confess, I don’t know if it would have that same effect on my today.”
The comments received warm messages from fans thanking Porizkova for sharing their “beautiful” memories.

Ocasek died in September 2019 from natural causes. Later, it was determined that he had atherosclerotic cardio disease. Porizkova said that Ocasek’s death was a shock two weeks after his heart surgery.
She stated that her husband’s death wasn’t related to surgery or heart disease. He died two weeks earlier. Rolling Stone. “I don’t know how much I want to say about the surgery, but it was successful. He was recovering really well. His passing was an unexpected tragedy. [expletive] shock.”
