Sierra Mist is gone.

PepsiCo Representatives for Sierra Mist have confirmed that they will no longer sell the soda and will instead offer Starry.

Sierra Mist, a long-standing competitor of Coca-Cola Sprite, has been an a soda mainstay for almost two decades. Starry is the brand’s new product.

What makes it different from its predecessor? PepsiCo claims that Starry is more crisp than Sierra Mist because it has stronger and “more aromatic” citrus flavours. Starry Hits Different is the tagline.

The new, caffeine-free beverage is now available at national retailers and food service outlets. It comes in regular and diet flavors and can be purchased in cans or bottles.

“I like this. “Starry is much better than Sierra Mist,” an early sampler wrote on Twitter.
