Prescott 5th TD game on Cowboys 4-down gamble

The Buccaneers gave their first sign of life against Cowboys during the final quarter. Julio Jones intercepted the touchdown pass and beat DaRon Bland, a rookie cornerback. Due to kicker Brett Maher’s blunders, it was a three-possession game but a stop on the two-point attempt kept it that way.

Dak Prescott, the quarterback, set his sights on closing out the game. Two first down conversion throws brought Dallas to Tampa Bay territory, while the clock dragged on. Maher attempted to walk onto the field after a fourth down, but Mike McCarthy decided to keep the offense on field to bury them. Prescott made sure that wide receiver CeeDee lamb was not forgotten by defense. He then delivered a backyard pass to end the door on Brady.

Prescott’s 18-yard throw to Lamb was his fifth touchdown on the night, a monstrous performance on the road against the greatest to play the game. After Maher had made the extra point, the crowd roared with joy. It was a wonderful sign for the future. The Cowboys are now leading 31-6 after ten minutes.
