Rick and Morty Voice actor and co-creator Justin Roiland False imprisonment and felony domestic violence charges are being brought against her
According to NBC NewsThe 42-year old has been charged with one count of domestic battery with corporal injuries and one count of false imprisonment, violence, or deceit. This is in connection to an incident that occurred in January 2020 with Jane Doe, who was in a relationship at the time with Roiland.
Roiland, who was charged in May 2020 with harassment, threats and surveilance of the person named in the protective order, pleaded not guilty in October 2020. In August 2020, he was arrested and released on bail. A protective order was issued that Roiland must surrender all firearms and weapons he owns or has owned. It lasts until October 2023.
Roiland’s attorney T. Edward Welbourn said that they were looking forward to clearing Justin’s name, and helping him move forward as fast as possible.
