Comer states that Santos will be removed from the U.S. Congress if it is found out that he violated campaign finance laws.

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. Rep. George Santos, a liar about his resume and life story in large part, will be removed by Congress if he is found to have violated campaign finance laws. James Comer, a Republican Chairman and House Oversight Committee Chairman, said this on Sunday.

Comer stated that “he’s a terrible guy” on CNN’s “State of the Union”. It’s not up for me or any other member to decide if he can get kicked out of Congress for lying. He will be removed from Congress if he is found to have violated campaign finance laws.
