Saturday’s matchup with Northwestern postponed

Wisconsin (12-5) was scheduled to face Northwestern (12-5) at home Saturday. But, the game has been canceled. postponed To be determined later as the Wildcats continue to battle a COVID-19 virus outbreak in their program.

As a result of the postponement, the Badgers will return to the court Wednesday (Jan. 25) to face Maryland (12-6)  in College Park. Wisconsin will seek to get some extra rest after their 63-60 victory over Penn State at The Kohl Center.

The postponement by Northwestern was their second consecutive. They were last playing Jan. 15, against Michigan. If they are able to clear COVID-19 protocols, the team will play against Nebraska next Tuesday (10-9)
