Sooners a part of the ‘Last Four In’ in latest Bracketology from ESPN’s Joe Lunardi

The Oklahoma Sooners are currently just 2-3 in Big 12 play. However, they have suffered three losses against top 15 teams. They’ve picked up wins at home vs. West Virginia and on the road at Texas Tech.

As it stands now ESPN college basketball analyst Joe Lunardi’s Bracketology, the Sooners are one of the “Last Four In” for his 68-team projection. Boise State joins the Sooners. Penn StateNew Mexico, and, are on the positive side.

The Sooners are one of seven Big 12 teams in Lunardi’s field, second only to the Big Ten, who, interestingly enough, has ten teams represented.

For a chance to strengthen its standing, the Sooners travel on Wednesday to Stillwater to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Sooners will play three consecutive games against top-25 opponents after they take on the Cowboys. They’ll host the No. 21 Baylor Bears will host the No. 14 TCU Horned Frogs. Oklahoma will also welcome the No. The No. 4 team in the nation, Oklahoma will receive the Alabama Crimson Tide.

They can build their resume by winning three of their next four games.
