Texans transfer WR Johnny Johnson from the practice roster to the active roster

The Houston Texans have made one standard elevation from their practice roster to their active list ahead of their Week-18 encounter with the Indianapolis Colts Sunday at 12:00 p.m. Central Time in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Johnny Johnson, a former Oregon wide receiver, was elevated to the active roster by The Texans

Johnson was undrafted. The 6-foot-1, 199-pound Johnson has been with Texans since rookie camp.

Houston has an opening on their game-day roster for a receiver. Wideout Phillip Dorsett was out Friday due to a hamstring injury which got worse over the week.

Loss would put the Texans (2-13-1), on track to secure the No. 1 overall pick in 2023 NFL Draft.
