The 12-0 Rays will go for some MLB history Thursday

Baseball betting is very easy. It’s easy to get up in the morning and place a bet on Tampa Bay Rays. Profit is yours.

The Rays’ impressive winning streak to begin the season is a major story in baseball, other than the pitch clock. Tampa Bay is now 12-0 to begin the season. The Rays will make some history Wednesday morning.

Only a few decades back were the only 13-0 starts of modern history. The 1982 Atlanta Braves and the 1987 Milwaukee Brewers opened their seasons 13-0. The Rays can match it with another win.

Tampa Bay is going for their 13th consecutive win on Wednesday. They are huge favorites to do it. The Rays are an -210 favorite at BetMGM Over the Boston Red Sox. Jeffrey Springs, who hasn’t given up any runs in 13 innings this year, is the Rays’ starter.

Just two weeks in, the Rays have already been a great team for betting. A bettor who placed $100 each on the Rays moneyline for every game is now up $607 according to Covers.com. Would you take the run line in every game? The Rays are an incredible 11-1 against the run lines and that $100 betor would be ahead $966.

This is after 12 games. For both the Rays and bettors, it’s a very good cushion.

The Rays are climbing up the World Series favorites’ list. Their odds of winning it all is +1200. They haven’t played even 10% of the season yet so we don’t know how good Tampa Bay is — and they have benefited from a super-soft schedule to start the season — but it’s a team that leads the majors in home runs, runs scored and ERA, which is a pretty good combination.

We will find out Thursday afternoon whether they can match some rare historical events.

Here’s a look at the Thursday sports betting slate.

Only 7 games available in MLB

There are still some good matchesups between the MLB teams, although there are only a handful of them. The Bronx hosts the best game, with the Minnesota Twins (8-4) taking on the New York Yankees (8-4). With Jhony Brito, a hot young pitcher, the Yankees are a -140 favourite at home.

Another game worth watching is the Milwaukee Brewers at San Diego Padres. After a difficult road trip, the Padres return home to face a Brewers team that has had a strong start to this season.

NHL offers a complete roster

On Friday, there will be two make-up games in NHL. But the regular season is over on Thursday with each team playing. While all 16 playoff spots are filled, there may be some movement in seeding.

The Carolina Hurricanes could win a division title. They are slight -105 underdogs at Florida Panthers. New Jersey Devils are one point behind Hurricanes.

The Colorado Avalanche plays Friday at Nashville Predators in a makeup match. They’re currently one point behind Dallas Stars on the division standings. The Avs are an -200 favourite against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday.

The Vegas Golden Knights could be the No. The No. 1 seed in West with a win, or overtime loss at Seattle Kraken on Thursday. The Knights are -120 favorite.

Which is the best option?

I will be a little skeptic and pick the Yankees. I like Brito’s pitching style and think the Yankees should be able support him. New York is my -140 favorite.
