This 180-day World Cruise sails to 5 continents, 37 countries, and 85 ports

Viking has just revealed its 2024-2025 World Cruises lineup.

While the year may be just beginning, Viking Is already looking forward to the future.

This Thursday the cruise line Announced its 2024-2025 schedule World Cruise Itineraries will take guests around the world. The longest cruise is probably the new Viking World Voyage IThe ship will depart Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 19, 2024. It will sail for 180 day visiting 85 ports in 35 countries across five continents.

“For 25 years, we have been committed to providing our guests with immersive and culturally enriching experiences while traveling the world in comfort,” Torstein Hagen, the chairman of Viking, shared in a statement provided to Travel + Leisure. “Our previous World Cruises sold out in a matter of weeks, and we continue to see strong demand from our guests for extended voyages. Our seamless World Cruises are the greatest of all adventures and allow guests to explore more of the world with us.”

Viking will provide guests with cultural enrichment programs that include lectures on board and entertainment focused locally. This is designed to help them appreciate the world’s ports of call more deeply. Viking noted in the press release announcing these cruises that this includes the Viking Resident Historian program, which “provides guests with a high-level historical and cultural education specific to their journey.”

For those who can’t make the entire 180-day trip, Viking is offering a shorter version of the world cruise on Viking Sky. The 163 day Viking World Voyage II It departs Los Angeles on the 5th of January 2025. The trip visits 29 countries and then returns to New York. Guests who board the 930 person Viking Sky New Yorkers will sail Mexico, traverse the Panama Canal, then explore South America. Los Angeles will be the next port of call for passengers. Viking Sky It will travel across the Pacific, stopping at both French Polynesia and the Hawaiian Islands. The vessel will then travel to New Zealand and Australia before continuing on through Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Mediterranean, and Northern Europe.

Similar ocean ships offer similar information about what to expect at board Neptune Sky Both feature Scandinavian design throughout the Veranda Staterooms which start at 270 square feet and go up to 14 Explorer Suites which are 757 to 1,163 sq feet for those looking for more space to travel around the world.

From now until March 31, 2023, Viking will offer exclusive savings including business-class airfare and ground transfers as well as a complimentary visa service.
