Ghostface commits murders These five murders were committed by Vince Schneider, Judy Hicks and Wes Hicks. Liv McKenzie was also involved. And, most controversially, Sheriff Dewey Riley died from Ghostface’s terror shortly after surviving all of the movies.

The murderous suspects were stabbed and killed by a team of fierce tag sisters Sam and Tara as well as Sidney Gale and Gale.

Behind-the-scenes: Neve Campbell was so well versed with the Scream franchise that she came up with the iconic line: “I’m Sidney f***ing Prescott — of course, I have a gun” when Dewey calls her about her safety.

In the meantime, Scream 5 brought in a new generation of Woodsboro actors. Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera and the original cast of actors were all introduced to the scene. The latter is so talented, she was offered the job without having to audition. Samara Weaving, an Australian actor was also supposed to be in the movie. However, conflicting schedules meant that it did not happen. Be assured, though, that she will be joining the Scream universe in the sixth installment.

“And as a woman working in this industry, it’s important that we are valued and fight for our value. It’s hard to believe that, if I was a man and had completed five instalments of a blockbuster franchise that has spanned 25 years, the number I was offered would match the number offered to a woman. In my heart, I knew that I couldn’t do it.

“I couldn’t walk on set feeling that – feeling undervalued and feeling the unfairness, or lack of fairness, around that.”
