A Washington state mother of four was killed in a hit-and-run earlier this month, and her family is seeking answers.

Gina Blatchford, 35, was struck and killed while walking alongside Interstate 5 on the morning of Oct. 4, according to reports from KING 5, FOX 13 and HeraldNet.

Authorities do not have a description of the vehicle that hit Blatchford, but her family hopes that information will come out that will lead to justice.

“I feel that it’s a high-traffic area, and somebody had to have seen something,” Blatchford’s cousin Jenny Rabang told FOX 13.

Rabang also called upon the person who hit Blatchford to come forward, according to the outlet.

“You need to turn yourself in, because I don’t know how anyone could live with this and drive away,” Rabang said. “I don’t even know how many people drove by, and didn’t say anything and didn’t stop. It’s heartbreaking. It’s heartless.”

Blatchford’s “close sibling” Danika Hatch told KING 5 that she wonders why “someone wouldn’t stop” after she was hit.

“Anyone with the above information is requested to call Detective Daniel Comnick at 360-529-7367,” a spokesperson for Washington State Patrol District 7 told KING 5. “Your assistance is appreciated as we work to locate the suspect and suspect vehicle.”

Blatchford had four children: a 17-year-old, a 15-year-old, an 11-year-old and a 5-year-old, reported KING 5.

Blatchford’s family started a GoFundMe to raise money for a reward to find who hit her.

“Her children, her parents, her siblings and many friends and family members are seeking answers and would greatly appreciate your donations and spreading the word,” wrote the fundraiser’s organizer.
