2024 in-state OL returning from Florida for January

Ponte Vedra offensive lineman Jake Guarnera He is not new to the Swamp. He was offered a contract by the Gators and visited Ben Hill Griffin Stadium last summer to play the season opener against Utah, and the final home match against South Carolina.

Guarnera’s next trip to Gainesville will come over the upcoming weekend on Jan. 14, according to On3’s Gators Online. He’d confirm those plans on social media on Monday.

Guarnera should experience a different trip this time than in the past. Florida is much more focused on 2024 and has little left for the 2023 cycle. Every opportunity to meet with a coach is more important than ever.

Most of Guarnera’s contact is with Florida’s offensive line coaches, Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton. High school juniors value relationships and Florida is trying to maintain close contact.
