Alabama MBB moves to No. Ten in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches poll

After a loss to Gonzaga, the Alabama men’s basketball team went from being ranked inside the top-five to No. 10.

Despite some dominant performances against top teams, including two top-ranked programs, Alabama’s second loss of the season was enough to bring the Crimson Tide down five spots in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.

The poll does not count for the team’s recent win over Jackson State, but that win may not be enough to move the needle in the next rankings.

Alabama will face No. Next week, 15 Mississippi State will play No. 28 in an SEC opener. This is a huge win for both teams.
