Villanova wins Tuesday tilt, Cal defeats

Villanova had the tying runner on second base at the bottom of the ninth. However, Christian Becerra sealed the deal and the California baseball team prevailed 8-6 at Stu Gordon Stadium. Cal (8-3) ended the night with eight runs and six hits. The three big hits were provided by Kade Kretzschmar and Peyton Schulze. Villanova (1-10) finished the night with six runs and 10 hits. This includes home runs by Collin Quintano and Jack O’Reilly to keep it interesting.
