Interview with Raheem Moor, Colts head coach

The Indianapolis Colts have completed their interview with Raheem, Los Angeles Rams defensive coach, Friday.

Morris is the fourth interview that the Colts completed to fill the head coach vacancy. They interviewed Colts special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone (Jan. 11), Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero (Jan. 12). Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy (Jan. 12).

Morris, 46 years old, is one of few candidates who has had prior experience as a head coach. He was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach from 2009-2011, with a 21-38 record.

He served as the 2020 defensive coordinator and interim head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

Morris’s recent success with the Los Angeles Rams as its defensive coordinator makes him an intriguing candidate.

The Colts will interview Ben Johnson, Detroit Lions’ offensive coordinator, Friday and Shane Steichen, Philadelphia Eagles offensive manager Saturday.

Chris Ballard will lead the search for head coaches. the decision ultimately resides Jim Irsay is the owner.
