Patriots are getting healthier as an electric rookie returns to practice

Key players were back at the New England Patriots’ practice on Thursday, as their contest with the Buffalo Bills draws near.

Jonnu Smith and Marcus Jones, cornerback, were both back on practice. DeVante Parker, wide receiver was also available. according to the team.

Nose tackle Davon Godchaux and linebacker Terez Hall were the only players that were not spotted during the media portion of Thursday’s practice. Godchaux was listed as a DNP on injury.

Jones’s return is important for an inept New England secondary. Jones has recorded 33 tackles and two interceptions this season. He is also one of the most versatile players on the team, having recorded both a receiving touchdown play and a punt returned to him for a touchdown in his rookie year.

And we can’t leave out this incredible pick-six.

Smith adds another weapon to New England’s arsenal. He was able to catch four passes for 21 yards, before being forced to withdraw from the Week 16 game against Cincinnati Bengals.

With a win Sunday, the Patriots will be aiming to secure a playoff spot. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET.
