Giannis Antetokounmpo was just a matter of time.

Antetokounmpo was seen leaving Fiserv Forum on Tuesday night, dropping a career high 55 points. Milwaukee Bucks123-113 win against the Washington Wizards

His game marked the fourth 50 point game in as many days, in a wild stretch in NBA basketball.

The Bucks led for most of Tuesday’s contest and ended the first half with a 15-0 run that lasted nearly four minutes of the second period. They held a 12-point advantage at the break thanks to that burst, which the Wizards were unable to match.

The closest they got was within two near the start of the fourth quarter after a Daniel Gifford free throw, but the Bucks quickly surged ahead once again and cruised to the 10-point win — thanks largely to Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo scored 12 of the Bucks’ last 14 points to help them win their second consecutive game. He made 20-of 33 from the field, added 10 rebounds, and seven assists.

Antetokounmpo’s 55 point performance marks the 14th game with 50 points this season. Comparatively, last year’s league saw only 19 of these games.
