Love Island Winter 2023 Line-up: All contestants revealed
Love Island is welcoming a whole new group of singles to the villa next week – this time in South Africa, for the second ever winter series.
The series’ first 10 contestants were revealed before it launches on Monday 16 January. Maya Jama As the new host of the show, she will be making her debut.

Once the series gets underway, it will boost the cast with the addition of bombshells. fans have been given the chance to vote for the first one They are eager to make their entrance.

Tanya Manhenga
Age: 22
From: Liverpool
Occupation: Influencer and student in biomedical sciences
Tanya claims she is looking for a boyfriend but men with big feet, no socks in the house or who take baths without bubbles are not her ideal.
She said, “I have vitiligo. This is skin pigmentation. You may not even notice it.” It’s on my lips and it has a streak on my hair. Not many people know that but I think it’s quite cute. I don’t care about covering it up all the time, I think it’s a vibe.”
Kai Fagan
Age: 24
From: Manchester
Occupation: Science and PE teacher
Kai describes himself as calm and caring. He is a Jamaican citizen and has played rugby 7s in Jamaica. He is now semi-pro at Burnage RFC rugby and claims he has “technically earned three different degrees”.
He says: “I’m single by choice. I’m looking for the right girl. I have high expectations. I don’t feel I should commit to someone unless I’m absolutely buzzing over them, because it’s not fair on them.”
Lana Jenkins
Age: 25
From: Luton
Occupation: Makeup artist
Lana said she has worked as a make-up artist with many celebrities and was even a guest on the Spanish sitcom Benidorm when she was just six.
She says: “I don’t mind people texting me all the time but if you send me question marks if I’ve not replied to you in a while, you’re gone. This is a red flag for me. It’s also a red flag if I see a man trip over.
Ron Hall
Age: 25
From: Essex
Occupation: Financial advisor
Ron believes he is one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. He also claims he’s a rare find as a nice guy.
He says: “On meeting me, you’d never know I am blind in one eye. It was a result of an eight-year-old football injury. I had gone in for a header and was kicked in my face. I’ve got two different coloured eyes, one blue and one green.
“It’s added to my character, there are so many people that are worse off than me. It’s actually a good thing to lose something like that. It’s not hindered me in any shape or form. It’s a good conversation starter I must admit.”
Anna-May Robey
Age: 20
From: Swansea
Occupation: Payroll administrator
Anna-May claims she is a chatterbox and finds working from home difficult because she can’t communicate as well as she would like. She also feels pressured by her mother to find a man.
She said that she once went on a date with him and never saw him again. He took me out for dinner and we shared a bottle wine. While I was speaking with him, he fell asleep. To wake him up, I had to clink his glass of wine.
Will Young
Age: 23
From: Buckinghamshire
Occupation: Farmer
Will, a farmer looking for a wife and meditating every night, wants Sir David Attenborough as his character in a movie about his life.
He says: “Having grown up on a farm, it’s been quite difficult juggling relationships and work. Love Island will give me the opportunity to get away from the farm and only go out to find love. I think I’m at the time of my life where I’m mature enough to go and find a wife.”
Tanyel Revan
Age: 26
From: North London
Occupation: Hair stylist
Tanyel believes that “pretty boys” give her the ick. But, a man who can dance will make her fall in love.
She says: “I’m hard to get, confident, funny, charismatic, good looking and happy. I’m also a very loyal person, what is there not to love?”
Shaq Muhammad
Age: 24
From: London
Occupation: Security officer at airport
Shaq, a hopeless romantic and a sucker for Dear John, is an ardent supporter of the film.
He says: “I haven’t had the best luck with previous relationships. I decided to try my luck and hopefully meet the love of mine. I’m hoping to meet my future wife. The one I want to marry. Hopefully she’s in the villa.”
Olivia Hawkins
Age: 27
From: Brighton
Occupation: Ring girl and actress
Olivia is bubbly and confident. She has a great career, but she’s never been in a serious relationship at 27.
She says that she did a film together with Jason Statham. They had a lovely 10-minute chat about life. I’ve been a ring girl for KSI, I played a waitress in James Bond with Daniel Craig and I’ve also been a body double for Michelle Keegan and Emma Watson.”
Haris Namani
Age: 21
From: Doncaster
Occupation: TV salesman
Haris has never met love nor taken a girl home with him to meet his family. However, Love Island could change all that.
He says: “I’m different, I’m a unique guy, the way I act; confident, not awkward, especially with the girls. I’m friendly, I’m very respectful as well. Anyone who meets me, I don’t think they have anything bad to say about me. I don’t give them that bad impression to say, ‘Oh, I don’t want to speak to him again.’”
Bombshells
In order to allow fans to vote for their favorite, the identities of the two first bombshells were made public in advance of the series’ launch.
Voting closes on Friday 13 January. The bombshell with most votes will join first the villa.
Ellie Spence
Age: 25
From: Norwich
Occupation: Business Development Executive
Ellie claims she is “the complete package… flirty and forward, but also very confident.”
She also said that she was drunk and climbed the gates of a friend’s house. I fell, almost losing my leg. Two weeks later, I was back in the hospital. They then stitched my leg up. It left me with a big scar on my leg but I’m so blasé about it, if I’m in a bikini you can’t not see it.”
Tom Clare
Age: 23
From: Barnsley
Occupation: Semi-pro footballer
Tom claims he is good friends with Robbie Savage, the director of his football team, and that he is participating in Love Island to search for a wife.
But talking about what gives him the ick, he said: “‘Birthday make-up’ – you know when make-up is done professionally for an event and it’s just too much, like blue eyeshadow and stuff? Girls don’t need that.”
