Brooklyn: A man is shot to death in Brooklyn

Police said that a man was killed Monday afternoon in Brooklyn by a gunman.

According to police, the 32-year old victim was at the corner of Fourth Ave. & Dean St. in Boerum Hill. The shots were heard around 3:55 PM.

He was once struck in his chest.

Police described the gunman as being in his 30s. He was wearing a blue camouflage shirt and took off westbound along Dean St.

Although Medics attempted to save the victim, they were unable to reach him at NewYork Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Police continue to search for the shooter.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.
