Michigan edge defender at the transfer portal

Monday Michigan lost linebacker Deuce Spurlock after one season He announced that he was entering a transfer portal.

The freshman linebacker will be joined by two more Wolverines.

On Tuesday, Julius Welschof and Taylor Upshaw entered the portal earlier.

Upshaw still has one year of eligibility and it seems he will spend it at another university.

Upshaw’s total tackles this season was 12 with 4.5 for loss, 2 sacks and 1 interception. He also had 1 quarterback hurry.

Former Florida three-star recruit, he played two games at Michigan. He may be looking for a start opportunity because of the Wolverines’ many edge defenders.

The maize and the blue landed Coastal Carolina’s edge transfer Josiah Stewart sooner out of the transfer portal.
