Ravens and OC Greg Roman parte ways with Lamar Jackson, who was a mentor to him in his quest for an MVP.

No matter if Lamar Jackson returns, Baltimore Ravens’ offense will be different.

Greg Roman, the offensive coordinator, won’t be joining the team. According to NFL MediaRoman’s agents issued a release saying that Roman would be leaving the team in order to pursue other opportunities.

The Ravens quickly followed up with a thank you tweet. They wished Roman all the best.

Roman was a top offensive play-caller for dual-threat quarterbacks and helped Colin Kaepernick and San Francisco 49ers win the NFC Championship. He then had great success with Jackson.

Roman was the Ravens’ 2019 offensive coordinator. Jackson was named NFL MVP that season. Baltimore’s offense was inconsistent in the past season. This was due to Jackson’s knee injury and personnel deficiencies at receiver.

Jackson will be a free agent if the Ravens don’t offer him a new contract. his future with the team is uncertain The season ended in a strange way. Ravens will likely be looking for an offensive coordinator, but it is not clear who their quarterback will be next year.
