Sizzy Lawton signs for Tennessee
Sizzy Lawton signed as a graduate student transfer with Tennessee
The Lady Vols announced Lawton’s signing Friday.
From 2019-22, she played at Penn and appeared in 47 games. She also started 37 contests. Lawton scored 10 goals, 12 assists, and 32 points for Quakers.
Half of Lawton’s goals were game-winners in 2022.
Lawton is originally from Upper Dublin High School, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. She also played lacrosse in Upper Dublin.
The 2022 season was the first for Tennessee under head coach Joe Kirt. The 2022 campaign was concluded by the Lady Vols with a record of 11-6-2 (7-1 SEC) and were defeated in the NCAA Tournament’s first round by Xavier.
Kirt served as assistant coach at Tennessee between 2007-21.
