Brett, reality TV is not something you’re unfamiliar with. Big Brother It was four years ago. How did you feel four years ago? The Circle You were right?
Brett Robinson: Truthfully, reality TV has never been something I was interested in. Even when I did, it was not reality television. Big BrotherIt was perfect timing. They slipped in my DMs. I had no social media followers. At the time, I had about 3000 followers. A casting producer sent me a DM. They are like, “Hey we have this really cool adventure. We think that you would be great. Would you like to chat with us? I was in transition at the time from one career to another. I called them. I was like “I don’t even know what that is.” They were like, “Well you can come to this show and make half of a million dollars.” I said, “Give me the money.” This is exactly what I would do. They’re like, “Oh, my god, we love you.” It worked perfectly because I was between jobs. It was that simple.

Then, of course, you have to do it! Big BrotherMy DMs are often blown up by reality TV shows. Sometimes I am open for chatting with them. Sometimes I’m not. And casting producers The Circle hit me up, and they’re like, “Hey, we got this cool experience.” I was like “This is what you would do.” And they are like, “We love this.” It was as easy as that. I was lucky enough to be offered the chance. It was clear that my original plan didn’t work. (Laughs.) It’s that easy. It wasn’t something I was applying for; it wasn’t something I was chasing. It was luck, that the timing and the opportunity came along. It was a great suit. They felt it was great, too.

Xanthi: What’s your origin story? The Circle?
Xanthi Perdikomatis: It was definitely not a “slide in DMs” game. For me, the game was a love affair. The strategy was my favorite part of the game. I also loved the game’s strategy. The Circle All walks of life are represented. life. They all came together and you could find something you liked about each of them. It was an amazing show. So I applied. I was actually the last person to be cast in season five. The Circle. I was able to get on the plane very quickly. I received the audition, got on the plane and that was it! It happened quickly. It was very exciting.

You can also describe your first night in the game by using “Very, Very Quickly” since you are immediately blocked by Chaz or Raven. How did you react to being eliminated?
Xanthi:
We were being judged based on our first impressions. And it will either go one or the other. It was heartbreaking and shocking to be blocked by one person and then the last person. It was nerve-wracking. It was so hard. I was hoping that the next alert would bring me something positive. It was a huge heartbreak. It’s impossible to predict how things will turn out from the first impressions. So you had no control in The Circle With that.
Brett: This was obvious. Listen, I have been a very polarizing person all my life. Nine out of ten times, you either love or hate me the first time you meet me. It’s what it is. It is rare to hear someone say, “Oh, he was alright.” With my profile, I knew that either they’d be all in or none at all. I really hoped that it would be a group gay men. (Laughs.) They just wanted to love me, adore me, and cherish me. It was going to be amazing. It was something I had been hoping for.

But I knew that if I can get through this first night and I have a group who love me, I will do great. I was obviously a bit proud of how well I did. Big Brother. They tried to expel me many times, and I skated past them several times. It was then that I was heartbroken to learn that I had not been granted it. I felt bummed. Damn.” It was so bad.

You are given the opportunity to play Jennifer again, and you will get to the end. The drama will get complicated near the end, but suffice to say that you made it through to the final day. It was surprising that you came in fifth.
Xanthi:
It seems like there was hope between us, even though we might not have the final win. Comparatively to how everyone else was voting Since the beginning, I expected us to be at least fifth place. Because we have been playing the game for longer than others like Tamira. I was surprised to see fifth. Once I saw it, however, I was able to understand. It was then that I realized, “Okay, we held on to a thread throughout the entire game.” We’re fortunate to be here. There was just enough pettiness to make it at least fourth! (Laughs.)
Brett: There were two perspectives. It was simple. If everyone plays the same game as they have, we’ll get fourth or fiveth place. I was hoping that Chaz could have been more strategic and put Raven at bottom. Chaz was paranoid and Raven put Chaz at bottom. We’re all like, Holy! [expletive]Jennifer won?” (Laughs.)

You know when it will be the last rating. You can sense it coming. There was still some hope. I was hoping for something similar. They played it safe. Throughout the game, everyone did exactly what they promised. It’s also $100,000. This is not 20 bucks. This isn’t. Too Hot to Touch Split 7K between 25 people. It’s quite a bit of change. It can make a big difference in someone’s life. So, based on all the stories everyone was telling me, I didn’t become millionaire. family I appreciate the positive vibes that everyone sends me.

We see you both going back and forth about those final ratings. Xanthi, it is clear that you are willing to follow your heart and rate fair. That reflects on how people are rated in the end.
Brett:
It came down to Sam or Chaz between 1 and 2. This was the big argument about where the final rating was. I can’t remember the names of the others. The difference was based on where Sam and Chaz felt they deserved to land. We wanted to let people go. We thought about it, “What gives Jennifer best chance of winning?” We also wanted to know who we would choose to win if Jennifer isn’t gonna win.
Xanthi: It is where we mixed our personalities. For our strategy, we wanted to vote as Brett suggested. If we didn’t win, who would we like to win? When you think with your heart, it’s easy to forget about the stories of others and what you know so far. If you say that you want to vote with you heart, it is who you know best and if someone deserves the money based on what we have shared. It’s difficult. You’re  deciding whether someone becomes $100,000 richer, or you’re telling someone, “Hey, all that gameplay you did was basically for nothing, because you lost.” (Laughs.)

Let me talk about another time you disagreed with each other: When you decided to rank Tom last in order to make sure you survived. Please tell me what led you to agree.
Brett:
There is no second prize at the end of the day. There is no third prize and no fourth prize. One winner will receive the money. At the end of it all, Jennifer was the one who should win. Jennifer will be the winner, so everyone else is just a pawn. I love you I’ll take you as far and as I can. But winning is what it’s all about.

This was not what they showed. But I was still running numbers all the time. It was accurate in forecasting the outcome of the vote and how I expected it to happen. It was impossible to forget Jennifer, even if we dropped Tom. “I promise you Xanthi, we will take Tom the best!” steak We can have dinner anywhere in the globe if we win. We can’t bring him to dinner if he doesn’t win. This was what I felt was necessary at the time. It was, of course, heartbreaking.
Xanthi: Because I couldn’t do the same to my boy Tom, it was definitely a battle between Brett & I. He was there for us every step of the way, and helped us get to where we are today. Now we are blocking him, and we are the reason he is going. If you think about your alliance, you can’t help but think about your heart. Because they have your back when you’re playing. You are doing things together, and you are succeeding together. It’s much easier to focus on strategy when it comes to people. Tom was a difficult person to deal with. I thought, “We’re going to get such bad karma because of this.” He should get the most expensive steak from that menu.

Because of what happened with the Hacker, Tom was one of the reasons that you had to rank Tom last. To throw Tamira under a bus, you decide to impersonate Chaz. It backfired when they realized it. Even when confronted about the fact, you refused to admit it. This only made Sam more angry. Talk me through the whole thing.
Brett:
Oh, man. I was shocked when they presented me with that gift. We are so screwed. We can’t get out of this mess. In my gut, I know that when we did it, I thought, “We’re going to get caught!” You don’t realize that the Hacker power was given to you until you get it. Although it appears obvious on the outside, it is clear when you are watching that “Everybody knows about it”. They don’t know at the time. I said, “If they don’t reveal it, we might get away without it.” We can’t get away with it if they disclose it.

The goal is to find the most effective way to blow it up, then to have someone else blame for blowing it up. My goal was to find a public enemy to Jennifer. This was due to the game in which we had to answer “If you were to block anyone, who would it?” We had to choose Tamira. We now have to get Tamira out, she is definitely going after us. Now we have to decide who the most likely candidate for this, and how do you break down the biggest duo. They’re strong and they’ve done well. Because we will get there, and if we get caught, I want it to explode. They’d still catch you even if the power is used on something small and insignificant. They’d still put it against us, and would continue to pursue us. I would rather try to blow things up as much possible, so that there is a chance of some plausible deniability.
Xanthi: We were also thinking, “Okay, we have this power.” We’re going to abuse it on Tom and us. And we’re going to give them everything we have. It really is all or nothing. The Hackers had the most extreme and disastrous power trip you could imagine. (Laughs.) And we were on such an exhilarating high. It was like we had done it! We were like, “We killed it, we did it!” Then Chaz and Sam started to catch on, and we were like, “Noooo!” (Laughs.)

Finally, you had a rare experience. The CircleIt is difficult to be with someone completely different. Talk me through the process of making this adjustment.
Xanthi:
If you meet someone you will live with them and eat together. You will breathe with them, and you’ll play a game alongside them. It was a simple thought for me: “Look, this is what we’re gonna do together. We are going to be a team. I’m going find everything and everyone I love about your team. We’re going to make it happen. In truth, Brett has become a part of my life and I have grown to love him. He had mine; I had his. We had a great balance between us. We needed me to be the feminine part of Jennifer’s character. It had that womanly touch. Brett was Jennifer’s game-side. We had a great balance. Of course, there were always ups as well as downs. Respect is number one and we showed it throughout the game.
Brett: I come from a large family. My whole life I’ve had six roommates. I was in a fraternity home; I lived with 15 people on national television. Big Brother. This was very simple for me. There was a little learning curve, but we quickly fell in to our group. We were like, “Alright. Now, we have to both come up with a decision we can all agree on.” These chats are short and intense. However, when you’re first starting out, it can be annoying. This is a guy who’s never lived with a roommate. I am a people person. That’s where my energy comes from. I feel sorry for other players. I can’t even imagine the last part of the game where you are trying to come up with a different way of saying something.

I am an animal that feeds off people so I was fortunate to have someone to eat off of and to also have a lot of positive energy. You will find times when your mind is not in the right place. anxiety Starts to rage or you get mad at people or things. This is why it’s so important to have someone like that balance your emotions. Particularly when you are like “Am I crazy?” Am I being [expletive] crazy right now?” You can also be like “Yeah, that’s crazy.” I have 10 people I can call at any time to hear their thoughts. [expletive] crazy right now.” I prefer checks and balances. The experience was truly a blessing. We had so much good times. Even if no one was talking to us, we were having a lot of fun. The room was full of fun and laughter.
