Austin, who is grieving the loss of his father, must start over in Massachusetts with Ginny, his half-sister and mom. After dealing with bullying, Austin isn’t afraid to throw a punch—or as we saw this season, pull the trigger—much like Mars-ruled Aries energy while in its youthful years. He is navigating the world through fresh eyes, and as the sign that represents “The Fool” card in the Tarot, his whole life is about taking big leaps of faith and making radical changes that can sometimes be done on impulse and heightened emotion.

Ellen is the mom of Max and Marcus and neighbor of Ginny & Georgia. Like a Taurus, she is trustworthy, comforting, loyal and reliable for her family and friends. She’s also stubborn, we open the season with Georgia and Ellen still feuding, and Ellen stands strong to her stance. Her determination to make their home accessible to her hearing impaired husband, Clint, also shows how deeply loving, conscientious and thoughtful Taurus’ can be.

Norah is a fashionista, and a social butterfly. Both of these traits are related to Gemini energy. Their witty and fast-paced minds are able to curate the best outfit, playlist or conversation starter (no matter who they’re around). Dualistic Gemini energy is also a result of her tendency to switch sides and play into power dynamics. She is a Mercurial with a secret agenda and plots in her own love life, which reveals the complexity of Mercurial brains.

Maxine is bigger than life, and she loves to be the centre of attention. However, Maxine tends to view her emotions as facts rather than temporary internal experiences. This trait is characteristic of Cancer. She is deeply enmeshed with her family and takes lying very seriously, as we see between her and Ginny once she finds out about her and Marcus’ secret love affair. She wants to know all of the ins-and-outs of everyone else’s experience, which gives total watery Cancer vibes.

Georgia is loud, bright, sunny, and show-stopping. Georgia’s showmanship is a prime example of Leo energy. Although not everyone can see the soft side, it is possible to glimpse the vulnerable and sensitive nature of Leos who want to be loved. During the early years of Georgia’s life, she knew that she was destined for something more than the life that she had, and even through hardship, she still manages to smile, get dolled up and reach new heights in her career and personal life. She is the epitome Leo energy!

Ginny is a teenager who is sometimes more mature that her mother. Ginny was born to Georgia and Zion when she was only a teenager. This puts a lot of pressure on Ginny to end generational curses and provide stability and structure for herself. Virgo energy is represented by the maiden, the natural born healer of the zodiac, and there’s no one better suited for Virgo energy than Ginny herself. Ginny is a quiet, non-confrontational Virgo, despite the microaggressions and judgements from her classmates. She encapsulates the “girl next door” energy that the maiden portrays, with her wild side lying dormant on the other side of a drink or feeling a sense of safety.

Abby is the sometimes air-headed, but always affectionate member of MANG. She lives in her own reality, and the ways that she misses social cues are so innocuous and adorable that you can’t help but want her around more often! She gives off lovely, charming, sociable Libra energy to a T. She is willing to hide her pain in order to keep others happy, and although this isn’t a trait we want to encourage in Libra placements, it does tend to be their natural disposition.

Marcus is the mysterious bad boy of every high school girl’s dreams. He is an outcast with snarky, existential Scorpio behavior. He is focused only on expressing his sexuality. Ginny starts the conversation in this way, with a touch of non-attachment. All to avoid being vulnerable or even hurt. He is deeply passionate about the things that he sets his sights on: whether that be guitar, hitting a punchline just perfectly or Ginny herself… does anything scream Scorpio more than that intensity?

Zion is human Jell-O. He is focused on his creative endeavors and, even into his adult years he still navigates the world like a free bird. Ginny regards him as a reliable, trustworthy parent. However, she records him as an absent father. Hell, Zion even *looks* like a Sagittarius! He is a magnet for attention from all walks of the globe he goes, even the hallways of Ginny’s school, prompting her to say “in the next life, I want ugly parents”. Georgia was seduced by him and he created a fantasyland of their future together, with an inability to settle down and commit, which is common for Sagittarius men.

Paul is the charismatic, articulate, and well-established politician every Capricorn dreams about becoming. Even when Georgia is in the wrong, he is a reliable source of energy. Capricorn energy is cold and calculated when he needs to make the law or get ahead. He is determined to be a leader in his family and his community. “You are in my town” is an iconic, powerful, and spot-on statement to utter from the mouth of a sea goat, and Mayor Paul Randolph is full of intimidating one-liners.

Hunter is truly one-of-a-kind and doesn’t like to follow the beat of anyone’s drum but his own. Aquarius energy is trendsetting by his ability to write and dance in the halls and using social media filters and apps. They don’t care if other people consider their behavior “cringe”, they simply move through life authentically, and oftentimes ahead of the crowd. His hairstyles, clothing, and behavior all scream “I’ll do what I please, I don’t care who’s on my side!”.

Joe is a kind and compassionate friend, boss and neighbor. This season, he’s focused on health, supporting local farmers, and apparently, know-it-all moms? His overly-romanticized view of the world around him leads him to feel heartbreak, confusion and disillusionment (a telltale sign of Pisces energy in someone’s chart). From the moment they met, he placed Georgia on a pedestal and has been unable to stop wandering aimlessly in search of love and romance. He is able to spot great vintage items, great music and whether his teenagers have been using recreational drugs. Who’s more Pisces than Joe?
