Third Georgia TE opens transfer portal

The Georgia Bulldogs are experiencing a loss of many pieces in their tight end room this offseason. Veteran tight end RylandGoede has entered into the transfer portal. He’s likely to be seeking more playing time.

Ryland Goede will be eligible for two years regardless of where he chooses to transfer. To become a national champion, the 6-foot-6, 220-pound tight end stayed with Georgia football all through the national championship run.

There is a lot of competition at Georgia for his playing time, so it is understandable why Goede is considering transferring. Goede may still be able to return to Athens.

Ryland Goede was a four-star recruit who was part of the class in 2019. Goede, who plans to graduate in Georgia, has been a part of 15 games the past two years.

Darnell Washington, a junior tight end, is expected to be selected for the 2023 NFL draft. Georgia tight ends Arik Gilbert And Brett Seither They are both in the transfer portal.
