PM Sunak claims that the UK has the “ambition” to send tanks to Ukraine. Zelenskiy hears from Sunak

LONDON (Reuters – Prime Minister Rishi Sunak outlined Britain’s ambition to send tanks and additional artillery support to Ukraine during a telephone call on Saturday with Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s office, Sunak’s spokesperson said.

Sunak’s spokesperson stated that they had agreed to accelerate global military and diplomatic support to Ukraine at this time.

“The Prime Minister outlined the UK’s ambition to intensify our support to Ukraine, including through the provision of Challenger 2 tanks and additional artillery systems.”
